Dear reader,

A few days ago (it is July 8th, 2021 today, time of writing) LinkedIn News was so kind to ask my opinion on giving an informed perspective about the ever-changing world of work. I have been asked to give advice to people making a shift right — whether it’s landing a new job or making a career pivot. So here goes my answer, on Medium a bit more detailed and structured.

THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL

The first suggestion and the most important one would be: find your true purpose. Stay true to yourself and double down on your strengths. Have a strong work ethic and learn how to say no.

PURSUE WHAT YOU FIND MEANINGFUL

Take control of your life. Stop complaining.

Take responsibility. Be a better man. Be a better woman. It is rewarding.

Have an ethic. Learn to say no.
